Plugins

Plugins (System group, admin.plugins.view) lists installed plugins with version, author, status and any issues, such as a missing dependency or a required config value. Install a plugin by:

  • Upload Plugin (.fpa), a packaged plugin file,
  • Install URL, a direct link to a .fpa file (the panel warns about URLs outside the official repository), or
  • Store, the official plugin store.

Check Updates looks for new releases and Update All installs them.

Open a plugin to see:

TabUse
OverviewVersion, author, status, Resync Assets.
SettingsValues from the plugin’s config schema, with required fields marked.
VisibilityHide the plugin’s sidebar items, routes, public pages, widgets and UI pack entries without editing files.
SpellsAllow-list of spells where the plugin shows in the server sidebar. Empty means every spell.

To write plugins, start at Plugin development.

Cloud Connections

Cloud Connections (admin.root) links the panel to Mythic Cloud. Connect Mythic Cloud opens an authorization screen listing what the panel will and will not be able to do. After you authorize, panel accounts are matched to Mythic team members by e-mail, so no one types a Mythic user ID. The page shows the team, credits, Premium status and last sync, with Sync now, Re-connect and Disconnect. Disconnect removes the link and its keys completely. Cloud features are off on demo instances.

With a connection you get:

  • Marketplace: spells and translations from FeatherCloud.
  • Report an Issue and Suggest a New Thing, sent with details about your panel.
  • FeatherPanel Premium: rename the AI assistant and change its picture, edit the sidebar, hide “Powered by FeatherPanel” and hide the panel version. Premium is read from your Mythic team’s subscription.

Translations

Translations (admin.root) manages language files by ISO 639-1 code (en, de, fr). Create, upload or edit a file, import the default English strings as a starting point, or install community translations. A missing key falls back to English and then to the built-in frontend strings.

AI agent

FeatherCloud AI Agent (Settings group) configures the in-panel assistant:

SettingNotes
chatbot_enabledOff by default. Turns the assistant on for all users.
chatbot_ai_providerbasic (keyword answers, no key), google_gemini, openrouter, openai, ollama, grok, perplexity.
API key, model, base URLPer provider. chatbot_openai_base_url lets you point at an OpenAI-compatible server, chatbot_ollama_base_url at a local Ollama.
chatbot_temperature0.0 is focused, 1.0 is creative.
chatbot_max_tokens1 to 8192 tokens per reply.
chatbot_max_history1 to 50 previous messages kept in context.
chatbot_system_prompt, chatbot_user_promptCustom prompts.

The assistant can act on a user’s servers through tools that check the same subuser permissions as the normal API: power actions, files, backups, databases, schedules, allocations, subdomains and knowledge base search.
